It was a crisp fall afternoon but the chilly weather didn't deter our enthusiastic participants from coming and spending the afternoon playing chess. There were a lot of exciting games and kids had a fun time. We saw everything from quick tactical knockouts to long endgames where both players were down to just kings and pawns. Between rounds, kids discussed games and cheered on their friends.
