[PAST EVENT] Chess lesson and Free Play

Today we had a few new kids who joined our session. We covered some basic thematics of puzzles, reviewed pieces and their value.

We then covered a few puzzles and discussed sequence of moves. In chess, it is very important to go over the full sequence of moves when deciding what move to make. We also discussed the importance of evaluating various options before picking a move to make.

In our next session, we will be covering notations and will have free play at the end with chess pieces and clocks. Thank you to the parents and kids for a fun session today! Hope to see you next week!
