| Players with USCF rating < 500. | Players with tournament play experience and a USCF rating of 500+ |

| Players with very basic chess knowledge and understand how pieces move. | Players how have attended level 1 and are able to deliver checkmates on the board |
| Players will learn piece value, how to attack weak pieces and how to focus on piece safety of your own pieces. We will also cover tactical motifs, development of pieces and how to checkmate. | Players will learn middle game strategies, checkmate patterns, more complex tactical positions and cover some endgame practical ideas.. |
