Today we covered checkmate in 2 moves. This was using all different pieces, from knights to bishops, queens and rooks. The key idea is to look for squares the opponent king can move and restrict them to finally checkmate the king. The class did an amazing job and we were able to cover quite a few puzzles today!
This was then followed by our regular free play where every player played 3 games against other players. It was great to watch checkmates happen on the board.
