Fall Spooky Quads Nov 2nd

We had an enthusiastic set of kids who participated in our 64 Squares’s Spooky Quads tournament ! This event took place at the Cupertino Senior Center on November 2nd.

Along with the quads, we hosted a 6-round blitz tournament with an interesting multiple match play-off for first place. Trophies were awarded for first and second place with at least a 2/3 score in the quads section and the top 3 for bllitz.

Here are the winners:

Quad 1 : Juncheng Jia.

Quad 2: Evan Lo.

Quad 3 :Dhruva Lele.

Dominic Li, Juncheng Jia, and Xuanxi Qiu won first, second, and third in the blitz, respectively. Kudos to Dominic for playing a play-off match to win first place. This was an Armageddon and Dominic was playing the white pieces in a must win situation and he won his game to clinch first place.
